this is Alberto. I am an Assistant Professor in Creative Industries at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Creative School.
I analyze the implications of Artificial Intelligence on cultural production and creative labor.

Previously, I was Deputy Director at the Digital Democracies Institute at Simon Fraser University, where I also held a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship. Before academia, I was a media executive in a leading European marketing agency.
